About Debendra Rana
Debendra Rana is one of the famous Production Manager in Odia Film Industry or which is commonly known as Ollywood. Many people may not know him, because he is a back screen personality. In a Film we know about its director, producer, Casts etc. But do not know about the back stage or back screen personality by whom the film is going to hit the success. So Debendra Rana is one of them. The Nick Name of Debndra is “Debu”.
Debendra was born in “Rautpatna” of Cuttack. His father’s name is Mr. Sadashiv Rana and mother is Haramani Rana. Debendra has already worked in many Odia Films and also many famous Odia TV Serials.
How Debendra Come to this line in Ollywood
Actually some vehicles of Debendra were used in Film Shootings. So it is a regular process that he has to go to the shooting set regularly. One day there was a shooting of Odia Film “Suna Sanshara” which was directed by the famous Odia director “Hara Pattnaik”. At that time the Art Director “Nikhil Baran” was not there at the set. So Hara Pattnaik was doing the both duty. So Hara Pattnaik told Debendra (Debu) to look after this as he knew Debendra can do this. From that day Debendra entered in to this field and till in the year 2012 he has almost 15 years of experience in this field. As a production manager he has to look after all things, such as Location, Art, Shooting, Camera etc.
