Eligibility for DET 2013 for Odisha

Admission to 1st Semester of Engineering/ Technology:- The candidates should have passed 10th or Matric examination of BSE, Odisha or any equivalent examination from any recognized board with aggregate 35% marks and passed the Mathematics and Science examination. During the counseling the candidates have to produce their original pass certificate and mark sheet of 10th examination.

Admission to 3rd Semester under Lateral Entry Scheme for Odisha candidates: (20% Supernumerary seats)- The candidates should have passed +2 science examination from CHSE, Odisha or its equivalent examination with PCM/ +2 vocational (2 years course) in any engineering trades/ 2 years ITI in engineering trade with pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha.
Age Criteria for DET 2013 for Odisha
The applying candidates should be 14 years for taking admission in all courses except Mining/ Drilling. Candidates should be 16 years of age if they want to take admission into Mining/ Drilling. The age criteria will be calculated as on 1st July 2013. There is no limitation or restriction regarding upper age bar.
Reservation Criteria for DET 2013 in Odisha
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates and other casts will be applicable for the candidates of Odisha only as per the prescribed rules and regulations specified by the Govt of Odisha, wherever outside state candidates for admission into 1st sem of 3 year diploma engg courses will get reservation of 15% seats in private engg colleges and polytechnics. Outside state candidates are not eligible for lateral admission to 3rd semester.

Application form with the information brochure can be obtained on payment of Rs 500 in shape of cash from all Govt and private engg schools/ polytechnics of Odisha, Govt ITI located at Anandapur, Bhawanipatna, Bolangir, Boudh, Khariar Road, Malkangiri, Pattamundai, Phulbani, Puri and Sonepur, District Industries Centre or DIC of Deogarh, Jagatsinghpur, All new Govt Polytechnics at Chhatrachakoda, Kendrapara, Badajhinki, Sonepur, Ladkipali, Bolangir, Rengali, Samablpur, Agnipur, Nawarangpur, Salunki, Kandhamal, Parsurampur, Gajapati, Bidyadharpur & Balasore. The forms will be sold from 28th January 2013 to 23rd March 2013 (10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in all working days).
How to Apply Online for Diploma Entrance Test or DET 2013 in Odisha
Candidates who want to apply online should log on to www.detodisha.nic.in and make payment of Rs 300 in shape of NEFT/ Axis Bank Challan. In This website you can know how to apply by the step by step guidance. Online application link will be open on 28th January 2013 to 25th March 2013.
The duly filled in applications for Offline mode/ print out application form for Online mode with the NEFT challan must be submitted at any Sale cum receipt counter by Hand on or before 16th March 2013 or should be sent through POST to DET Cell, Bhubanananda Odisha School of engineering (BOSE), Cuttack-753007. The applications should be reached on or before 25th March 2013 before 5 P.M.
