Bhubanewar : Tremors were felt in some places of north Odisha after an earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale rocked Hugli district of West Bengal on Tuesday evening.
According to available information, slight intensity quake hit Anandapur in Keonjhar, Balasore and Baripada at around 6.33 pm today.
The panic-stricken people ran out of their houses soon after they felt the tremors. However, no report of loss of life or properties were report in the tremor which existed for 22.9 seconds.
