Narendra Modi at Sambalpur for Bijaya Sankalpa Samabesha on 14 March 2014

Sambalpur. Mar 14 : BJP’s prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi arrived in the city an hour late for the massive Vijay Sankalp rally today at Ainthapali. He was welcomed by loud cheers by a mammoth crowd at the venue.

Modi began his address in Sambalpuri by saluting Veer Surendra Sai and paying obeisance to goddess Samaleswari, the presiding deity of Sambalpur. He lauded the crowd  for waiting  under the scorching sun since morning to  listen to him. He said such huge crowds are a sign of the tsunami of change that is going to overwhelm the country. This is Modi’s second visit to Odisha in run up for the forthcoming poll.
