The Odisha Assembly or Vidan Sabha Election Results is going to announce on 16th May 2014. There are 147 Assembly Constituencies in Odisha. The total number of voters in Odisha are about 28,880,803 from them about 15,038,356 are males and about 13,841,339 are female voters.

The fourteenth Vidhan Sabha election took place in 2009 and the Biju Janata Dal emerged the winner, despite separating from the NDA after an 11-year partnership. It won the election by conquering 103 seats out of the total 147.

Odisha, earlier known as Orissa, is a state in eastern coast of India by the Bay of Bengal. It is the 11th largest populated state of India. The Lok Sabha election in Odisha will take place on 21 parliamentary constituencies, among which five (Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Nabarangpur, and Koraput) are reserved for STs and three (Jajpur, Bhadrak, and Jagatsinghpur) are for SCs. The main political parties in the state are the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), the Indian National Congress (INC), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Communist Party of India, and others. The Lok Sabha (General)elections will be conducted in two phases on 10th(Phase 3A)and 17th (Phase 5)April.
