Bhubaneswar : The Higher Education department on Saturday published the second phase cut-off lists for admission into Plus-II courses. According to reports,
- Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar (BJB) College stood top in the second phase cut off list in all streams with a cut off marks of 91.33 per cent for Science, 72.33 per cent for Arts and 81.67 per cent for Commerce.
- Ramadevi Women’s college had cut off marks of 85.33 per cent for Science, 68.83 per cent for Arts and 66.63 per cent for Commerce in the second phase.
- Ravenshaw college cut off marks were recorded at 91.33 per cent for Science, 70.33 per cent for Arts and 78.53 per cent for Commerce. For SCS college in Puri, the cut offs stood at 75 per cent for Science, 66.83 per cent for Arts and 60.67 per cent for Commerce.
- For Fakir Mohan Autonomous college in Balasore, the cut off marks for Science, Arts and Commerce are 85.4 per cent, 71.33 per cent and 45.33 per cent respectively.
The students will have to take admission into the colleges in the second phase from June 27 to June 29. The third phase cut-off list will be published on July 4 and admissions for this phase will be conducted between July 8 and July 9. Sources said classes are scheduled to begin from July 14.
Notably, out of 4,00,059 seats across 1,544 colleges in the State, 2,72,339 have taken admission into various Plus II courses during the first phase of admission.
